He Told Me

I talked to my God

I told him I wanted to have my vision back

He told me "you can't"

I told him I wanted to find my way

He told me "You can't"

I told him I wanted to have a strong will

He told me "you can't"

I told him I wanted to feel his love

he told me " You can't

I then told him "God, I swear if you give me these things I will promise to try and help all those in the world that cross my path"

He told me "I can't"

I pondered, struggled, and cried

He gently broke through my sobs and told me" My child, I did not say may not, I said can not"

" You can not because you don't believe you can"
